The activities

Upon request it is possible to organize various activities to fully enjoy your vacation.

Horse-riding
Directly from the farmhouse’s patio it is possible to go for a marvellous horse ride through ancient mule tracks that lead you through itineraries rich of history and poetry. For adventure-lovers it is also possible to arrange more-than-one-day long trips in the hearth of the Etna Park. A special program is reserved for children, called “children in the saddle” consisting in meetings during which children, between 5 and 14 years old, are educated about equestrian sports. This aiming at getting children closer to the equestrian world and in-the-open-air activities by playing and simulating, teaching them how to always respect the nature and the environment.

Trekking
Thanks to the collaboration with the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) it is possible to make excursions through Italian paths, called “sentieri d’Italia”, which are walks in the nature to discover enchanting itineraries. Fit for everybody and available at different difficulty levels within the farm itself or up to the crater of the volcano.

Culinary courses
For all those who do not go on vacation neither when they are on vacation and wish to go back home with some Sicilian good recipes, granny Rosa is happy to organize real typical culinary courses for small groups of 10, maximum 15 people. And more: everybody goes altogether to the market to do the shopping…. Here is where the adventure begins.

Off road and quads
For real adventurers suggestive itineraries can be arranges on board of 4x4, through savage paths but guided by experts. And also trips on quads, the in fashion 4-wheel motorbikes.

Sailing
In full quiet, pushed by the wind and rocked by wavers nothing is more relaxing than a day spent by sailing. Upon request the best sailors of the area are at guests’ disposal for excursions and courses.

Fish-Tourism
Upon request it is possible to organize fish hunts accompanied by expert guides that very well know the coast and the best areas where to fish the different fish species.

Golf
Not far from the farm there are different golf courses, first of all the Picciolo Golf Club of Castiglione di Sicilia. This is an 18-hole-course at the bottom of Mount Etna, 650 meters above sea level, where the frizzy air and the breathtaking sightseeing make you forget any stress.

Flying
Close to Bagnara at about 10 minutes drive there is the Aeroclub belonging to the Aeroclub Italian Federation (AeCI), which organizes flying courses for ultralights. Lessons of hang-gliding are also available, for hang-gliders with or without engine.
