the farm several qualities of citrus fruits are grown, such as:
Navelina, typical blonde oranges that ripen from late October
to December with medium thick skin, deep orange colour, very sweet;
Tarocco, typical red oranges that ripen from late November to
the beginning of February, rich of anthocyanins, which give fruits
their antioxidant property; Valencia, with its light orange skin
and a good juice yield, ripening from May to June; Avana mandarins,
which ripen from December to February, Ciaculli Mandarins from
March to April.
There
are also September peaches, nectarines, called “sbercia
di Catania” that ripen in August, olives, and prickly pears,
called “bastardini”, which ripen at Christmas time.
Thanks to the food preservation process carried out genuinely
and naturally by expert companies of the area, such products become
special delicacies for our guests to taste and/or buy, including:
